Hi birders,
This is on fairly short notice, but do any of you have high-quality Florida-based photographs of some of the less-common exotics? I'm not interested in most psittacids (except _possibly_ of species NOT included in the recent _Birding_ article, June 2003), or the really common species (Muscovy Duck, Rock Pigeon, Eurasian Collared-Dove, European Starling, or House Sparrow).
Also not needed, because I already have suitable pix, are the following species:
White-faced Whistling-Duck
Egyptian Goose
Mute Swan
Black Swan
Phillippine Duck
Scarlet-type ibis
Purple Swamphen
House Crow
Common Myna
Spot-breasted Oriole
Troupial
Red-legged Honeycreeper
I _might_ be able to use pix of any of the following:
Sacred Ibis
any stork
the (in)famous black-hawk(s) of the Key Biscayne area
Harris's Hawk
Black Francolin
Inca Dove
any toucan
any bishop
any munia/mannikin/silverbill
Cuban Grassquit
Red-capped or Red-crested cardinal
Please contact me ASAP if you think you might have publication-quality photographs of any of these birds from Florida. Thank you.
Best regards,
Bill Pranty
