Barnes had a nice assortment of warblers today. There were a couple of "Traill's" type flycatchers. These were on the east side of the wooden fence area located on the north side of the entrance road going into the nature center. I think this is an old horse corral. Mickey and I tried in vain with a tape to get them to call, no luck. We seemed to get the most response with a Willow Flycatcer song and call. All the birds listed below were along the nature trail. I saw 17 species of warbler, Mickey Wheeler spotted number 18 which was a Chestnut-sided. Some how I missed this one, oh well. Below is a list of what we saw.

Tennessee 1
Northern Parula 6
Black-and-white 4
Black-throated Blue 4
Blackburnian 3
Magnolia 3
Cape May 3
Black-throated Green 2
Yellow-throated 3
Prairie 6
Pine 5
Palm 8
Worm-eating 1
Ovenbird 8
Northern Waterthrush 5
Common Yellowthroat 1
Redstart 5

Red-eyed Vireo, lots
White-eyed Vireo 2

Summer Tangager 2
Swainson's Thrush 8
Peregrine 1

Tomorrow should be very good if it rains tonight, see ya there.
