My apologies for posting a non-Florida bird sighting but it is so exciting that I just had to share with everyone. My friends in Valdez, Alaska recently e-mailed to me pictures they took of a gathering of Bald Eagles...9 or so. Yes, you say, a gathering of Bald Eagles is exciting but not uncommon up North during the Winter. What makes this sighting so cool is...the gathering of Bald Eagles happens in their own backyard! My friends put out pieces of fish to feed and atract the Eagles. Can you imagine how awesome that would be to have Bald Eagles right outside your door! I wanted to post the pictures but couldn't because I don't have a web-site. If anyone would like to see them just drop me an e-mail.
