Birds were active today at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Only 12 warbler species, but all in abundance. The primitive camping area has fruiting Strangler Figs and is active. However, a Merlin seems to make regular patrols of that area. A rail kept calling from the southern freshwater pond, but would not come out. It did not sound like a King, and it sounded *possibly* like a Virginia Rail. First Gray Catbird of the season arrived.
