I forgot to mention that Wakodahatchee offers a great photo-op position for the nesting Great blues. A 300mm equivalent and some patience and you can get all types of good pictures. (400mm + is a little too much). The north nest is full sun but limited in good background. Best shooting is 8-10 and then 4-6. The nest and bird is golden in the setting sun with the clear skies we are having. Anhingas and cormorants are around and have nests also in the same clump.

The south nest (on the tall pole) is out of reach and bad sun all day. But, don't overlook a good silhouette.
