Bronze Cowbirds have been at Eagle Lakes Park in Naples for at least 12 years when I saw my first one there in 1998. I have seen Shiny Cowbirds (very few) there as well but not in recent years. Ever since they stopped feeding Shiny Cowbirds at the now defunct Briggs nature Center, Shiny Cowbirds are rare in Collier County. There were a few that showed up at Corkscrew Sanctuary last year.
