Today we were treated to a male Painted Bunting but no Snail Kites. There was a female Northern Harrier, a brief glimpse of a Merlin, the haunting cries of a Red-shouldered Hawk or two, and a few unusually quiet Limpkins. The group of American Wigeons has dwindled to a single one but the cute immature Purple Gallinule is still hanging out with his parents. We also had a smattering of warblers, woodpeckers, and waders as usual. Below is a complete list of sightings.
