On sandy beaches in southeast Florida, you may find Black-bellied Plover, Sanderling, Ruddy Turnstone, Willet, Laughing Gull, Ring-billed Gull, Herring Gull, possibly Great Black-backed and Lesser Black-backed Gull, Royal Tern, Forster's Tern, possibly Sandwich Tern and Black Skimmer. If Boynton Beach has any mud flats, you may also find Wilson's, Semipalmated and Piping Plovers, Least and Western Sandpipers, Dunlin and Short-billed Dowitcher. On jetties and other rocky areas, you may find Ruddy Turnstone and Spotted Sandpiper. There's at least one record of Purple Sandpiper at Boynton Inlet, so look for that on the rocks as well.
