As we returned to South FL yesterday Sarah and I remembered that we used to see a dark morph Short-tailed Hawk around the Speedway Blvd exit on the turnpike, and there it was! I can't say that it is the same one from a few years ago, but nice to see anyway.
Tomorrow we plan to bird Lucky Hammock in the morning around 9 am. It would be great to see some of you S. FL birders too (you know who you are...)!
