PB: Loxahatchee NWR weekly Wednesday birdwalk

Every Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 7:30am (November through April), interested birders are welcome to participate in an organized birdwalk at the Loxahatchee NWR, off US-441 in Boynton Beach.

Yesterday, we were treated to a pair of Snail Kites, a pair of Northern Harriers, a Sharp-shinned Hawk attempting to snatch a Tree Swallow, a small group of American Wigeons (with their beautiful turquoise wing patches visible in flight), a cute immature Purple Gallinule, and a smattering of warblers, woodpeckers, and waders among others. Below is a complete list of sightings.
