Birders are welcomed where some staffing has been restored to Castellow Hammock Park - Robbie Carmona, Naturalist Manager,will oversee both Castellow Hammock (pronounced either way),and Bill Sadowski Parks along with part-time staff available to keep the park open on weekends (Fridays-Saturdays)and Wednesdays thru Thursday if programming is available. Both parks are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but birders can park outside the gate and walk in. The feeders will be maintained with seed for buntings. Volunteer work days have been set up on the 2nd Saturday of the month for B. Sadowski Park and the 3rd Saturdays for Castellow Hammock to help maintain the butterfly and bird gardens as well the nature trails.
