Took a quick look around at around 4 PM today and was greeted by a large group of warblers that I could not identify because of a run-in with an old friend, but I did find the following (along with the usual suspects):
5 Wood Storks (1 relatively young juvie)
1 Roseate Spoonbill
1 N. Flicker
2 Red-shouldered hawks
2 Coopers Hawks
3 Merlins
3 Painted Buntings (1 Female, 2 males)
1 Purple Gallinule (juvie)
1 American Bittern - seen in flight! a first for me :)
