Today (1/18) I found a male Red-legged Honeycreeper at Bill Baggs. I do have a single digital picture, that clearly shows the bird in the picture is a Red-legged Honeycreeper. The bird was on the paved trail on the westernmost part of the park. Park in the parking lot with the resteraunt and the weedt hill. Procceed down the bike path and walk about 300-400 feet down the path heading south. Listen and look for the bird. A Parula was in the area. Once you pass the beggining of the bike trail and the rest rooms, you have gone too far. The bird has a grating wren-like call and a nasal call too. Larry and Robin will be out there. Good luck.
