Almost forgot to mention we also saw a Song Sparrow at the edge of the open field along the creek that surrounds the field! Awesome campus bird and only the third we see in Dade. The gray supercilium, dark moustache stripe, rusty colored wings and long tial gave the ID of this sparrow away. We also had two Kingfishers flying circles around us as they fought for feeding habitat.
Birds are moving, get out there and bird!
