Hello,
Haven't been able to do much birding but yesterday I was at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach and saw a Great Blue Heron in a large nest (that looked exactly like an Osprey nest)sitting on top of platform pole. Is it common for a Great Blue to take over an osprey nest or could it be the Herons nests? The whole situation really confused me and my mom really got a kick out of the perplexed look on my face when I saw a Great Blue rising out of what I thought was an osprey nest! hehe!
In any case....answers to this would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!
