Birded C357 canal on Richmoind Drive hoping for some sparrows. Only saw savannahs but did see one white-tailed kite hovering between the levies. Rain stopped us temporarily but after that birded the road to Checika but south of Richmond. Saw the following:
osprey
red-shouldered hawk
bald eagle
peregrine falcon
northern harrier
king rail
wilson's snipe
grasshopper sparrow
painted bunting
indigo bunting
eastern phoebe
common yellowthroat
house wren
