I agree. You can include sea ducks on the list of birds that overshoot. I have seen more scoters flying north in November than flying south, so the next couple of weeks is the time to look for these overshoots. Of course, many of these species are pushed by cold fronts as they ride the tailwinds, so having the fronts make it past us is crucial. At the moment, the weather down here is hot and muggy, with massive rain. Just another typical south Florida summer day. We might get more winter species down here if we would actually get a winter.
