4-4:30 on the boardwalk: YB sapsucker
4:30-6 walking around the cell nearest to the Marsh Trail parking lot:
Many palm warblers, phoebes, raptors, including 2 merlins. Also 2 purple gallinules.
King Rail (!) heard only, N side of the cell, close to NW corner.
Leaving, one large dark hawk seen from the road; neither short- nor red-tailed; dark morph Swainson's?
