This morning, I walked the levee trail at the C357 Canal sparrow fields on Richmond Drive (SW 168 Street). I found only Savannah Sparrows; though they're already common, they're not yet abundant. Best sighting was two White-tailed Kites, perched on adjacent snags at the southwest bend of the levee trail. Other birds seen included Northern Harrier, Sharp-shinned Hawk, House Wren, Indigo and Painted Bunting and Eastern Meadowlark. A Limpkin was along SW 237 Avenue, just north of the intersection with SW 168 Street.
