This morning 10-30-10 I spent an hour birding the Westin Industrial Park(Cypress Creek and 1-95) FTL.
In the East grassy/thicket area near the canal path and south there were: Blue Grosbeak (2) and Indigo bunting (2)
In total there was the usual warblers 7 species (Parula-6)
the male Hooded Warbler was found in a mixed flock nearest the bld with blue canopies outside dining ( near the cypress lagoon). Hint: Listen for the distinct hard flat "chick" note , much loader than other warblers. Later I observed him feeding in the shrubs low against building.
Note: this is private property respect the people there during the week. the security staff know that birders sometime frequent the area.
