This morning there was a flock of indigo buntings in my yard in the Little Havana area of Miami. There was at least 8 or 10 of them, with a really nice view of one in the open. I ve seen painteds, but never the indigos before in this area. There also were 3 cooper s hawks (probably the residents) circling around. Otherwise the regular stuff. Every day recently, there have been the usual two adult spot-breasted orioles and 2 yellow inmmatures. The adults sing quite a bit early in the day.
