Sunday morning (1/12) I had a calling Brown-crested Flycatcher on Carysfort Circle N off CR 905 in North Key Largo. The bird was seen and heard (a loud whit! call) on both sides of the first residence on the north side of the street. This residence has several Cadillacs in the front yard. The bird was hanging out with a Great-crested Flycatcher allowing for a convenient comparison. The GCFL was brighter yellow on the belly and darker gray on the face and breast, it also appeared slightly smaller billed. The BCFL was much harder to get good looks at, as it hung back in the trees a bit while the GCFL stayed out on the powerlines. Because of this I got great pictures of the GCFL, but never could capture the Brown-crested.

Good luck if you go.
