Nature trail at Markham Park is showing signs of life. I had two Blue Grosbeaks on Wed. This morning, common yellowthroats and house wrens were conspicuous, also sedge wrens were surprisingly visible. Also seen: eastern phoebe, northern harrier, red-shouldered hawk, painted bunting. Habitat should be good for sparrows but still looking for FOS. Planning on checking C-357 canal area Wed. morning.
