I birded along the W perimeter fence of the Kendall-Tamiami airport this morning (along the canal).

The highlight was a female Kentucky Warbler at the extreme NW corner of the fence. Many yellowthroats were present, and when a bird flew up that looked heavier, I made a point of getting on it. (Check every bird!) I got a brief look at its face (Kentucky!), before it went back into the brush. At least 8 Blue Grosbeaks, some Palm Warblers, and Common Yellowthroats beyond counting were present in the area. It sounded like some Buntings were also present, but I was unable to determine which buntings.
