A few things regarding upcoming TAS field trips:
1. The 1/16-1/19 North Florida trip is full. No more reservations will be accepted.
2. If you are planning to attend the 1/31-2/1 Archibold/Highland Hammock birding/camping trip, and are planning to camp, you must contact Ellen Snow at eibhilins@earthlink.net, or at 954-926-0265. She needs to know as soon as possible how many campsites to reserve.
3. I'd like to find out what the interest is in turning several of my upcoming carpool trips into rented van trips. The trips involved would be:
2/28 Corkscrew/Ft Myers Beach
3/6 Kissimmee Prairie/Three Lakes WMA
4/17-18 Ft. DeSoto
A minimum of 8 passengers would be needed for each trip in order to make the trips feasable, with a maximum of 10 passengers in order to make the trips comfortable. I envision a cost of $25 per person for the day trips, $50.00 per person for the overnight trip. Some minor adjustment to this cost may be necessary. Of course, if you still want to go in your own vehicle, that's OK too.
