Birded the park for about an hour this afternoon. Lots of people in park and very little activity in the main hammock. Only had Parulas and Gnatcatchers. The oak grove just south of the hammock was taken over by partyers/picnickers so I didn't even go there. Saw a House Wren by the butterfly garden near the pines. I was going to leave but decided to try the "Homeless Hammock" area on the south end. Much better there with my highlight being a beautiful male Prothonotary Warbler. Had:

Many Indigo Buntings with a few female Painted Buntings mixed in
Eastern Phoebe
Kestrel
Yellow-chevroned Parakeets overhead
BG Gnatcatchers
White-crowned Pigeon
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Common Grackle
Black-and-white Warbler
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Pine Warbler
N. Parula
Palm Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler
