Gary and I set out to attempt a century day (not successful!) - but did see our first Florida Panther!!! Around 7:50 a.m., as we drove along Government Road, I looked to our right and there was a large adult panther running along the fence of one of the fields. What a shock to see it out in such an open area in broad daylight! Needless to say we were very excited! We turned the car around to get another look, but it was nowhere to be seen. We don't know how it disappeared so quick, but what an awesome experience!
