Nashville & Blue-winged Warbler @ Barnes - 10/18 late afternoon

This afternoon we decided to hit Barnes for a bit and see what was flittering about. We arrived arrived around 5:45 and headed straight for the large fig next to the lake. At first we only heard a few Palms and Gnatcatchers but saw very little, that soon changed. We had a large feeding flock consisting mostly of Tennessee Warblers and Northern Parula with a few godies thown in move through. We found two Nashville Warblers and a Blue-winged Warbler mixed in with this flock. Birds were moving from tree to tree while we were there keeping us busy moving around. Nice temps and great birds made the afternoon very enjoyable.
