Three days of searching for my dear good friend, the Nashville Warbler, and coming up empty-handed made me think of Paul Bithorn and his Black-faced Grassquit odyssey. I can empathize with you Paul, not that my sixteen hours plus of searching can compare to your (eighty hours?) massive search effort but nonetheless it did leave me with quite the bitter taste of frustration, as I'm sure it did with you.
Some sort of redemption needed to take place, away from Baggs...sorry Robin, but I need to walk away for now, for my own health. A late morning through late afternoon Tuesday birding of Matheson Hammock and Black Point parks delivered the following birds of interest, which included nine species of warbler:
Black-and-white Warbler (MH,BP)
Prairie Warbler (MH,BP)
Northern Parula (MH)
Black-throated Green Warbler (MH)
Yellow Warbler (BP)
Palm Warbler (BP)
Common Yellowthroat (BP)
Orange-crowned Warbler (BP)
Northern Waterthrush (BP)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (MH,BP)
Short-tailed Hawk (light and dark phases both at MH)
Bald Eagle (BP)
Sharp-shinned Hawk (BP)
Along with a few dozen other birds, it made for a pretty rewarding day. I feel refreshed now and ready to make another run for the Nashville "enigma"...next year though. I'm starting off clean-slate with this guy.

Cheers,
RJ

P.S. Thanks Robin for your help Monday, listening to your wisdom and advice alone was worth the trip to Baggs.
