Well, I usually don't make a big deal about it, but since there's been so much interest in feeder Buntings, I just saw my FOTS painted buntings at my feeders. There's a male and female. What's really amazing is that they got through the picket line (as in naval warfare, not union uprising) of Nutmeg Manikins. Gee, now I have two more mouths to feed, but at least these are a really nice native species.
