Sorry for the time lapse in posting but I have been away from the computer for the last few days. I was camping in Bahia Honda this weekend. Lots of migrants were about especially high numbers of Palm Warblers littering the ground and roadsides. Also seen were Prarie, Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Northern Waterthrush, and a migrating Broad-winged Hawk.

On my way back home Sunday I stopped at the Wild Bird Center where I picked up a Yellow Warbler and a Northern Parula.

At Dangey Johnson I had LOTS of White-eyed Vireos. Many were calling but while looking at a Black-throated Blue Warbler I pished a few vireos over to the edge of the nature trail. Only feet away I had a Thick-billed Vireo. At first I thought it was just another White-eyed but when I gave it a good look, I saw the large white eye-ring. I went back to my car for a camera but after an hour of searching I could not re-locate it again.

It was near the entrance, maybe 50 feet down the trail on the right side.
