Beautiful day for birding. Saw a male Painted Bunting as soon as we walked in at the 1st feeder on the left. Other highlights for us were Black-throated Blues, (male and female) Yellow-throated, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Roseate Spoonbill (gotta love the Pink!)BB Whistling Duck and her ducklings, female American Redstart,Brown Thrasher, Wood Stork, and all the usual suspects of herons and egrets. Lots of what we believe were female Blue-winged Teals, but no males. Do they migrate down later?
