If you look at the radar from last night posted on Badbirdz you will see that the stalling front over central Fl has stopped bird migration south. This front streches across the southeast and up into the NE and beyond. As soon as the front is pushed south by the next strong front in place which will pass over N. Fl on Sunday, we will get another big push of migrants. After that get ready for the late fall, early winter migrants to come in.

For now get ready for tomorrow and especially Thursday as we are expecting the largest movement of passerines through S. Florida this fall. West winds are forecast for Wed. night and into Thurs. West winds brings in all the godies! Check out badbirdz2 for images of migration on radar.
