I remember as a kid my neighbor brought some home in his shirt pocket from Cat Kay(? , maybe) and let them go in the screened patio area of his house. Some got outside. It seemed to us kids, the lizards would loose their "curliness" in their tails after a several months. This was in what is now the Pinecrest area of S. Dade, in the early 1960's. After a few years, we never saw them any more.
