The highlight of today's TAS walk was a cooperative Philadelphia Vireo at the entrance to the south parking lot. All of us managed to stay off of Old Cutler while viewing the bird, which it gave us ample opportunities to do.

We also saw several Yellow-throated Vireos, and of course, Red-eyed. Some of the group caught a glimpse of White-crowned Pigeon. Part of the group saw a flock of Hill Mynas flying surprisingly high overhead while others of us watched an Ovenbird. Nine warbler species were found, including Black-throated Blue, Northern Waterthrush, and Ovenbird.

Several Yellow-chevroned Parakeet flocks flew by, but it was heard more often than seen. Blue-and-yellow Macaw was also heard on at least 2 occasions. Raptors seen included Osprey, American Kestrel, Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a small buteo that was most likely a light-morph Short-tailed Hawk.

We checked for yesterday's Cerulean Warbler, but did not find it.
