I see them all the time now in Boca - along with the iguanas. The one problem I've heard of is that they prey on our anoles.
I have noticed a decline in the anole population over the years - at least where I grew up in Palm Beach Gardens - as I see more and more fat and happy curly-tails and much fewer anoles that I loved to catch as a little girl.
Just an observation.. I'm interested to see what others have to say.
