I'm actually equally excited about the Carolina wren. I remember when I moved here in 1992 seeing (and hearing) Carolina wren at Matheson alot. I even remembered it as late as the mid 1990s in the Alice Wainwight and Vizcaya area, as well as Graynolds Park. I don't know what happened, but it just disappeared. Its been several years since I've seen it in any of these places. I hope the Matheson bird means that it is coming back. It seems a perfect spot for that bird.
