The Cuban Pewee was heard this morning but barely seen. It flew into cover and called but we could not see it. The Yellow-bellied Flycatcher put in brief appearances before vanishing for a while. It was calling nicely this morning and gave some quick looks. It is a very pretty empid, it is a first year bird.
The rains came so that was the end of birding for the day.
