I started birding Black Point at 7am and took my time walking out and stayed at the end of the jetty for a while and picked up a few birds more than if I would have done a quick count and headed back... The tide was as high as I have ever seen so all the shorebirds were collected in one spot and others did flybys looking for somewhere to land. I only had 2 warblers which was an unexpected disappointment.
