Barnes 9/17 Orchard Oriole, Chestnut-sided Warbler

Another brief walk this morning, only in the area between the parking lot and pond, produced 9 sp. of warblers(Chestnut-sided, B&W, Worm-eating, Prairie, BT Blue, Yellow-throated, Redstart, Parula, Ovenbird), plus Orchard and Baltmore Orioles, Red-eyed and Yellow-throated Vireos, and several Hill Mynas.

Both the Chesnut-sided and Orchard Oriole were in the grove of smaller trees around Picnic Area 3, although the Oriole then flew up into one of the large ficus trees.

For the 1st time in about 2 weeks, I did not see a Blackburnian Warbler.
