If one were to stand in the Flamingo area (ENP)around the campsite to maybe Eco-pond at sunrise to 10:00 AM, and 5:00 PM to sunset you will see the Roseatte as they progress south to north and back again. These birds also work the marl area north of eco-pond at Flamingo.

If you were to rent a boat or better yet, charter a fishing guide and ask him to take you to Frank's Key in Florida Bay you will see Roseatte. Then you can pick up some fish on the way back in.

Not a bad way to spend a day.

By the way, they do tend to be high-fliers so look for them on the north-south passage at 500 or more feet height.
