Was able to get a few minutes of birding in while working yesterday. Found a small Oak Hammock near one of my RCW clusters.

Magnolia
Worm-eating
Hooded (Juv)
Cape May
B & W and Redstarts common
Pewee (of the native variety)
tons of Red-eyed Vireos

Had a really interesting vireo that I did not get good enough looks at to confidently identify but it stood out to me. I have seen hundreds if not thousands of White-eyed Vireos during my field work and this one just didn't seem to fit the bill (haha). Bill seemed bigger than normal and overall was really drab and mostly olive-colored. I have seen a lot of variations of the WEVI but this one made me take a second and third look. Tried for a fourth but no cigar! I never got a clear look at the eye-ring. I will stay away from calling out thick-billed. - unfortunately.

Hopefully Saturday will bring even more good stuff
