At approximately 7:30 this morning, the Cuban Pewee was first located 75 feet or so east of gate #3, along the hammock trail. The bird was then observed flying/perching/calling, as it made its way southwards through the pinelands, until it was seen foraging for insects in the pinelands just south of the restrooms (south of the employee house along the main road). Excellent views of the bird were had by all including nice scope views of it eating a large insect! John
