El Pewee was seen by myself and several other birders between 8:20 AM and 9:15 AM at several locations but all within a relatively short distance of each other. These locations are the same ones the bird has been showing up to. However, the bird flew in from the pines across the road when first seen (approx. 8:20 AM) and perched (calling) on a pine just north of the gated trail (see previous posts).
That said, he keeps coming back to the snags. Killer looks.
Also, at least four Buff-breasted Sandpipers and over a dozen Pectoral Sandpipers (and many Killdeer) on the field east of 217 Ave. and north of SR9336 (main road leading you into ENP).
