Tropical Audubon Society invites everyone to attend the Fall season's first program:

Digital Photography Through a Scope
Guest Speaker: Jeff Bouton
Wednesday, Sept. 8, 7:30pm, Presentation at Doc Thomas House.
Saturday, Sept. 11, Field-workshop - South Dade.

Wed. Sept. 8, 7:30pm. Jeff Bouton: Digital Photography Through a Scope.
Jeff will talk about the history of digiscoping, give tips on techniques and share his impressive nature photography. He has taught hundreds of digiscoping workshops across the U.S. and internationally, and his digiscoped images have appeared on the pages of various birding and photography publications. He works for Leica Sports Optics as the specialist for the birding and naturalist communities.

On Sat. Sept. 11, Jeff Bouton will lead a digiscoping birding trip throughout the South Dade area. Meet at the parking lot of Publix at 20425 Old Cutler Rd at 7:30am. This is an all-day carpool trip. Bring your digital cameras, optical equipment and a lunch.

Membership meetings are open to the public and held at the Doc Thomas House, 5530 Sunset Dr., South Miami, near Red Rd. Parking is available behind the house, on 55 Ave. The doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8:00pm.
