We were in Matheson today9-5-10 for just these birds. We started at 7:20AM and walked from the entrance way parking lot through the picnic area to the Fairchild parkinglot then crossed Old Cutler to the West side and walked up the path just across around 8:30. Did not see a thing on the west side. East side was productive but not the ones we really were after-- blackburnian, cerulean,swainsons, worm eating, chestnut sided. How early were you there? Where is the Mangrove trail-- on the west side??? Any help appreciated.
