Eastern screech owl now in residence at Hoechoka Hammock. Setting up "home" by one of the owl houses.

University and Sawgrass in Parkland: park on grass island on east side of Church land and walk into the Garden. (Note the sign, it says "Garden".) Bear NW from the gray tent for about 100 feet and listen....very carefully....at dusk...and you'll hear the "whinny". This bird is often silhouetted against dusk sky. Look for the two owl houses, it is somewhere in the area.

Also, for daylight, there are two large hawks yet unidentified. The last two up-close witnesses (mourning dove") aren't talking anymore so we don't have a positive identity.
