The race track farm fields have been recently plowed and had two Upland Sandpipers as well as two Buff-breasted Sandpipers and the Whimbrel from yesterday. I saw them about 2:30, the soil here is a marl type which is nice for shorebirds. Perhaps other goodies will show up.
The birds were seen south of s.w. 320 st. about 100-yards in on s.w. 132 ave. which is a dirt road. They were first on the west side of s.w. 132 ave. and then flew to the east side. A scope is helpful in this area.
