Went to Cutler Wetland this morning to check out the report of Whimbrels, but only found Black-necked Stilt and Avocets. There were also a very few Dowitchers but no Whimbrel.
Do you think you may have miss identified the Whimbrel? It would be highly unusual to see one much less 25+....
The Black Terns seem happy at Cutler Wetland. Looks like they may be there a while.
