3 Lark Sparrows were present between shelter 4 and the playground. They were preening in the oak trees for about 30 minutes. The are very tame, so good looks and photo opps are easy. When flushed they don't fly into the brush, but fly into other oaks. On the lake were a few Ruddy Ducks, Ring-necked Duck, and Pied-billed Grebes. The Lark Sparrows were singing a beautiful tune to go alone with their beautiful head patterns.
Dump Marsh had a few ducks, Peregrine Falcon, White Pelicans, and a few hundred Ibis (both species).
A light morph Swainson's Hawk was along the Dolphin Expressway adjacent to the south-side of the airport.
I ended the day with over 50 species, 2 lifers, and 2 county birds. I will try Biscayne National Park later.
